Crisis Services; Med Sup Withdrawal - Inpatient
The DWI Panels run by the Crime Victims Assistance Center, (CVAC), introduces victim's point of view to convicted DWI offenders. When victim's statements are told in person, it may enable offender to consider the pain and suffering drinking can cause others.
• Syringe and Injection works.
• Rig return.
• Overdose prevention training and kits (Narcan/Naloxone).
• Safer injection education.
• Drug use information.
• HIV and Hepatitis C testing.
• Access to Suboxone treatment.
• Linkage to peer exchange workers.
• Educational and support groups.
Crisis Services; Medical Managed Detoxification
For more than 40 years, ACBC has assisted individuals with substance use disorders and their families. With a comprehensive continuum of care, individualized treatment planning and caring staff, recovery is possible.
• Peer recovery coaching from people with lived-experience with addiction.
• Coaches are certified by New York State.
• Services are free.
New Horizons offers access to services for people suffering from alcohol or drug-related problems. They offer confidential assessment service to assist the patient and/or referral agency in determining the presence and severity of alcohol or other psychoactive substance abuse or dependence. They also provide recommendations and referrals to the appropriate level of care.
