Independent Living Skills

  • Description:

    The Regional Center for Independent Living provides people with disabilities with Independent Living Skills Training (ILST) to assist with their daily living activities. Delivered on a one-to-one basis, this training focuses on skills such as money and medication management, socialization, and mobility

    Provides: Assistive Technology, Advocacy, Architectural Barriers Consultation, Benefit Advisement, Client Assistance Program, Equipment Loan and Repair Referral, Home Modification Evaluations, Loan Closet, Deaf Community Support Services, Independent Living Skills, Information & Referral, Outreach, Support Groups, Housing Assistance, Disability Sensitivity Training, Bilingual Staff(American Sign Language).
