Program Dayspring Apartments:

Dayspring Apartments

  • Description:

    Dayspring apartments features 218 units for the elderly, handicapped or disabled. Dayspring I Apartments has 110 units, of which 74 are subsidized based on 30% of applicants’ income. 106 units are one bedroom, with the remaining four being two bedrooms. Dayspring II Apartments has 108 units, all one bedroom, all subsidized based on 30% of applicants’ income.

    These apartments are located on Columbia Street and Tioga Avenue, we are in close proximity to the Corning Business District, Police Headquarters and Market Street.

    Our two buildings have active Resident’s Associations hosting coffee hours, dinners and a variety of other social activities. We do have a bus that takes tenants to Wegmans on Wednesdays.

    Each building has a large well-equipped Community Room for residents’ use, with adjacent kitchen facilities. Laundry areas and sites for disposal of refuse are located inside, on each floor, with nearby elevators available for transportation between floors.

    Dayspring II also hosts the Senior Dinner Program on weekdays, available to all Dayspring residents.
