Programs that enable individuals with disabilities, people who abuse drugs or alcohol, or people who have emotional problems to obtain the training and employment experiences they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Services may include vocational evaluation, work adjustment, work experience, training in marketable skills and placement in competitive employment or a sheltered work environment.

Offers employment training and job placement services for people who are visually handicapped or blind. Provides vocational assessment, counseling and guidance, college, vocation and business school sponsorship, on-the-job training and placement, as well as low vision aids and other devices.

The AERC is a free walk-in service designed to help job seekers conduct an effective search. Support will be provided by a Resource Coach on skills vital for success when looking for work and accessing hidden job markets.Services include:
Employment Services and Supported Employment operated by The Southern Tier Independence Center (STIC), offers individuals an opportunity to work in an internship that will lead to permanent employment in a community business. Employment Training Program (ETP), participants attend job readiness classes that present topics such as conflict resolution and how to dress for employment. ETP services include increased job development and job coaching as well as assistance with other employability skills. Job coaches help with resume writing, job interviews, travel training and more. ETP focuses exclusively on finding people integrated jobs in the community.
• Assistance for people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders in finding, getting, and keeping a job.
