The Regional Early Childhood Direction Center (RECDC)is a joint project sponsored between Golisano Children#s Hospital at Strong and Monroe BOCES #1 RECDC provides FREE information, referral assistance and support to families and professionals. Helping to identify children with disabilities or those at risk as early as possible # #Child Find# (IDEA). Providing information and assistance (locate services)to parents, professionals and the community on services for children birth to five in the eleven counties surrounding Rochester. (Chemung, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates). Offering training and technical assistance on key early childhood issues in the region Promote services to be delivered to children in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)Our partnership with the Neonatal Continuing Care Program (NCCP)consists of two components: a tracking program and a follow up clinic with the Neonatal Continuing Care Clinic. The NCCP provides assistance to families in accessing services for children with developmental delays. Follow up data on all Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)graduates helps to inform research and future studies
