Medicaid Managed Care Program

  • Description:

    The Department of Social Services (DSS) offers enrollment in a Medicaid Managed Care Program through a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), clinic, hospital, or physician group is available at the Broome County Department of Social Services. Managed care plans cover the cost of all preventative and primary care, inpatient care, and eye care. Clients in managed care plans use their Medicaid benefit card to get those services that their plan does not cover.
