Family Caregiver Support Program

  • Description:

    The program is intended to help caregivers sustain their efforts to care for an older relative who has a dementia related illness. This program provides essential information, assistance, counseling, training, respite, and it promotes the ability of these individuals to remain in their homes and local communities, instead of being placed in residential facilities.

    Respite care of a cognitively impaired older person is available to provide caregivers with temporary relief from their responsibilities.
