Early Intervention

• Description:

  Provides an Early Intervention(EI) and Committee on Preschool Special Education(CPSE) home-based program for children ages 0-5 who have developmental delays in areas including: communication, physical and motor, cognitive, social and emotional, and adaptive skills. Performs evaluations in all areas including diagnosing autism spectrum disorder. Offers individual treatment plans including: speech and language therapy including PROMPT physical and occupational therapy, special education, feeding therapy, nutritional and parent counseling, sensory integration training, play therapy, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), and education of the visually and hearing impaired. Offers bilingual services and evaluations, Mommy and Me groups, parent support groups, family training and transition counseling. School aged services through the Committee on Special Education (CSE) provided as indicated on the children's IEP. Trainings and workshops provided to schools, daycare and parent groups.
