Hospice and Palliative Care Services is a program of comprehensive home care for terminally-ill patients and their families. The program provides home care services, emotional, psychological and spiritual support to the patient and to family members, respite services, financial and legal counseling, and provision of medical supplies, drugs and equipment. Bereavement services are open to the community.The Hospice Residence provides residential care for terminally ill patients and is located in the Hospice Center on a 12.5 acre site. It has six private rooms, a fully-equipped kitchen for individual meals, an adjacent private living and dining area, whirlpool tub and meditation room.

CAHPC can provide medical consultation, skilled nursing care, pain management and medications, home health aides, medical equipment coordination and delivery, social worker visits, as well as a range of family services to help make life easier for everybody.
Hospice and palliative care services at Franklin Hospital emphasizes physical comfort, pain relief and symptom management for patients at the end of life. Care is provided in the home or at one of our facilities in the hospice care network. In addition to providing care for patients, trained professional provide bereavement and counseling services to the family. Patients and their families have access to a network of professional staff including registered nursing staff, support care workers, physicians, counselors and social workers to assist them through this difficult time.
